Driving Teaching and School Leadership Innovation Through Research


The project will involve a comprehensive mapping of current teacher professional learning activities across Australia in both government and non-government sectors.  The project is being undertaken by Monash University and is due for completion in March 2008.

The research project examined how and why teacher quality in Australia may have changed over time.

The project scoped the nature and extent of current and planned career change initiatives operated by education authorities and universities, providing both quantitative and qualitative information.
